Thanks for asking, paylslyone. The chips GreenArrays has developed have been in production since our qualification wafer run came back and passed PVT testing in Spring of 2011, two years ago. Chip and evaluation kits have been available for sale on our website http://www.greenarraychips.com since Fall of 2010, 2.5 years ago. Our products have been shipped all over the world. This has been done with the investment of a little money and a great deal of voluntary labor by our team of founders over the past 4.5 years, along with a modest sale of stock to one of our long time customers. As anyone can see from public records at the SEC, we are authorized to sell stock privately under restrictions that Congress directed the SEC to ease a lonnnnng time ago, but which the SEC has still not gotten around to doing.
We completely own and control our company and its products. TPL et al have no interest in us. We offered a prospectus to PTSC before our chips were in production and PTSC politely declined to purchase any of our stock, thus PTSC has no interest either.
To date no one has told us they were interested in our products because of our MMP license. This is not surprising because, for example, our chips have no clock at all. In the sense you appear to be thinking about, using our chips would not be of any immediate help to PDS customers because our chips are intentionally unsuitable for running ancient legacy software and manufacturers of mass commodity products are seldom interested in writing new software. Our reason for wanting to have an MMP license has simply been as a prophylactic measure to protect our customers and ourselves against the cripplingly expensive distraction of litigation.
Cheers - Greg
