Infringers love the word Troll. They probably coined the phrase as way to escape prosecution. Patents are awarded to inventors. If the holder of a patent choses to sell their patent or to have someone market it for them it still should remain a legal patent. It doesn't give anyone the go ahead and use it without paying for it. What would be the sense of even getting anything patented? In my view it's larceny and should be punished as such. It's just that simple.

The real problem is our crooked politicians (both sides of the aisle) in bed with the corporate world. Huge corporate money goes into campaign funds electing those jerks and it's all for greedy self-serving reasons. Nothing surprises me anymore.

We're at their mercy.
