Ron has tried far more cases than I ever did, but my hunch is that the longer the jury is out, the better it is for a case of infringement, weighing damages, wilfulness, and so forth. The jurors would not have to reach the matter of damages, et. al., unless they decide positively on the issue of infringement. All of this takes time. How much, of course, is unknown.
Now of course that is speculation on my part, and I would be happy to hear from others as to their opinions.
For the first time I don't really enjoy refreshing the forum messages.
