It's refreshing to hear from someone having a cool head like you.

Is it a good time to start infighting with TPL (we are still tied with TPL by the MMP Commercial Agreement. I have not heard yet any workable plan to break that tie?)? Or start an infighting within PTSC? Looking in the back mirror, I think the time was past when we knew an Apple deal but did not see a sizable license fee paid to us. If someone suggested to this board and shareholders as a whole to fight with TPL or the BOD in that time frame, I'll vote for it whole hearted. Now, no matter how passive/active BOD has been involved in getting this court victory (many posters have voiced the significance of winning the HTC battle), the facts are -

one: BOD resolved the infighting (law suit) with TPL before this trial,

two: PTSC, Mr. Moore and TPL formed a united front to battle T3 to win two settlements and a big court victory against HTC,

three: one of our lawyer had been sitting by Mr. O's table in the court from day one to the very end.

Just think about if one of these three was missing, what the result will be? HTC lawyers were very smart and skillful in exploit any weaknesses of our side. After jury delivered the verdict, I spoke to one of the Juror along and then joined a lengthy discussion among 4 other jurors (including the foreman and another foreman candidate), the Daily Journal reporter (HTC lawyers joined later too.) One thing I learned from these jurors is that they were divided in many important issues during deliberation, including "generate", "the other", term 18 as a whole (the reason they asked judge about those was they were divided.) We were lucky that they got a unanimous verdict at the end instead a hung jury. We were also lucky that the Judge did not agree to HTC lawyers this time to redefine the terms.

In short, we have turned a new page, a page compatible to the time before dividends were paid. On the page, it said: "we caught a infringer - HTC". Never before we could write like this, no matter how many license deals were made. So, I may agree with many of the reasons to fight the BOD, or TPL; I just cannot agree with the timing. For one thing, does anyone think Mr. O's team will like to see an infighting this time before the ITC appeal?
