I'll take a WAG at an answer to that question..

1..They KNOW how much they settled for, at that time.

2..They know how that sum was split up, and how uneven the split was.

3..They have determined that the NDA, at that time prevented PTSC from learning

just how BAD WE were screwed.

4..They are anticipating a reaction to that news, finally being made known to PTSC.

5..They know that PTSC may/could challenge the validity of the deal that they made at that time.

6..They may be aware that their LEGAL TEAM's hands ARE/WERE, NOT CLEAN in that deal.

7..ERGO they may have that deal struck down, and end up paying MORE.. IMO

Does THAT seem PLAUSIBLE??

PS. They may have determined what ROLE PTSC BoD played in agreeing to all that..
