Hardly mumbo-jumbo. These are things I work on and think about on a daily basis, so all this conjecture is based on reality and educated guesses. While it's impossible to know what the other party is thinking, it's like a chess game. You try to anticipate several moves ahead. Nothing wrong with trying to map out potential scenarios to do one or more risk assessments on your stock holdings. As we go along, such evaluations no doubt will become more and more important.
