The multiple is porportional to the pps and earning per share.Multiples come from what someone is willing to pay for a stock, with x amount of earnings. Well astablished companies can have a multipble of 29 relisticly, while the crazy run up on speculation of hopes can go to a 100 with stupidity. IMO you can use 10 for unsure ,upward of 20 for what should be and 30 for sure. But remember the number is only a resuld to the pps not the other way around, people use the ``guess of a number`` to ``guess at value`` inorder to ``gamble trade``.

I also have found out the hard way, Look at how much debt a compnay has (kiss of death)
