I used to be a solid NFL fan;specifically the 49ers. But as the years have gone by and they've regulated the game more and more, I rarely watch football anymore. You can't touch the QB, you can't touch the reciever, and you can't dance in the end-zone anymore. You can't even take your helmet off on the field. It's just not the same...
I still like the NBA. Although since I've gotten married I watch less and less of it. I will say when Sacramento was going up against L.A. 5 or 6 years ago; and in game 6 of the playoffs I believe it was, the REF's cheated so bad!!! They blatently gave the game to L.A. when Sacramento had them whooped fair and square. That game was even national news at the time for that very reason. Hard to get behind the league when even the refs cheat against you.
Pro baseball? I would rather watch dust settle. 3 plus hours of nothing but guys spitting and scratching themselves. You can watch anything of interest of the game in the 30 second after game clips on ESPN. And this is from someone who played baseball my whole life. And I was good!
I still like Nascar. Although since Mark Martin retired I still haven't settled on who my new favorite driver is going to be.
I'm a big fan of having womens boxing go mainstream. Now that is something that I think I could really get behind!
