Now we pay for the plan to provide loans to people that could not afford to buy homes. If the economy turns around the bail out could result in a profit to taxpayers on the properties that the government (we the people) now own. The important thing is to head this disaster off before panic creates a run on the financial system and we spiral towards financial ruin and people lose all their savings and retirement their jobs and we end up in a depression. Only this depression would be worse in my view as so many more people live in the city and have no clue as to how to grow food to eat. lt could get really ugly if we continue to let the dominos fall.

As far as Bin Laden is concerned we are paying the Pakistanies to get him and obviously that is a low priority for them. They are shooting at us when we go into their country. I say they've had enough time to get him and it's our turn even if it means we are fighting Pakistan as well. Those that harbor terrorists are our enemies as well.
