Final Debate

I wish McCain would have said that the problem with the last 8 years is that government has grown by 40%, spending has been too liberal and the wars, catrina and the energy/economy has been mismanaged by goernment and that Bush must take credit for a lot of that. So I ask all Americans what does the country need now? Do we need even bigger government, more liberal spending, more opposition to an energy policy to drill for more oil here, building nuclear plants and clean coal plants. If You want to take more money away from people that have worked for it and give it to people that don't or wont work for it then Obama is your man. He has a record of being a big spender as a senator and in his campaign for presidency. His party has blocked efforts to tap into energy available in this country which could have helped wean us off foreign oil and would have certainly lowered fuel prices which is a big driver in our economy. His record is clear for anyone to see.
I on the other hand will shrink government, take a more conservative approach to spending by cutting pork barrel projects and trimming programs that are no longer needed. I will manage the wars properly and win the fight against our enemies. I will push for more drilling for oil the day I take office, build 40 new nuclear power plants and build new clean coal plants that will provide millions of new jobs right here in America and reduce our dependency on foreign countries for our energy. I will also provide our auto makers with funding for development and implementation of more efficient vehicles using battery or cleaner burning engineering. I will fight for you the American worker to get government out of your way so you can prosper and grow the economy. I will provide every family with a $5000 credit to be applied to the health insurance policy you pick. I will lead the fight to clean up government and corruption. Look at my record of standing up to my own party, of no earmarks, of fighting corruption, of standing up to George Bush calling for more troops for the surge. I was the one who stood up and called attention to Fannie Mae and Fredie Mac two years ago only to be shot down by democrats.
I am the one qualified, with the experience and the record to make this happen. I have served my country all my life and I will put country first. I would be honored to serve as your president.
Again ask yourself do we need 4 more years of liberal spending and growing government plus plans to increse taxes. Or do we need to shrink government, control spending and lower taxes?
