I think that was instituted so that seriously ill patients do not linger on life support costing the hospital and taxpayers money unnessarily. There are two illegals in a hospital in Stuart, Fl. on life support. They have been there for years. Mexico will not take them back. They are costing the hospital millions each year and they have no hope of recovery.
