I agree! I think we need to get back to those ideas. No Lawyers allowed in house or senate. Only in an advisory capacity. Our reps. should have to hold a regular job (keeps their finger on the pulse of the economy) and only receive a small salary and expenses for the days the meet in congress. They should meet on Fri., Sat. and Sunday (after church). This is probably as much time as would be needed and would probably equate to the same time spent as these whores we now have. I can think of many other rules, but let us see how many of those that are there now, would continue to "serve their country" under those conditions. All would get a max of 4 years.

I say most of that tongue-in-cheek but it may be a better than what we now have.
