What's right with the GOP?

Unfortunately, unlike our liberal counterparts, we conservatives have to see the world how it really is, make tough decisions that always don't make us feel good, but try to do what our moral values, conscience, and comon sense allow. For instance, on the surface an organization like acorn would seem to be an admirable attempt to help the poor and needy. But when the truth is fully exposed about the corruption, and intent to flood the roles of welfare receipients for the purpose of bankrupting the system the ugly truth is apparent. It is one thing to ask for help when it is truely needed, and quite another to bite the hand that feeds you, one that makes sacrifices with tax payer money, to do a good and noble deeds and be repaid with socialist indignation. With each passing day it becomes ever more apparent. Having Liberal or Conserative views are one thing, but underhanded attempts to bring this country to it knees are another matter entirerly. Some people and organizations take advantage of the willingness and need of others to do the right thing and lead them down a path filled with self motivation and greed.

Not enough of us are concerned about this country. We have citizen that have come from places where they lived with horrid circumstances. They should realize that they are always welcome here if they learn to love this country the way we do. It was, and is our home, we like it the way it is. No matter what your background or ethnicity now first and foremost you are Americans. That trust and responsibility are now your burdens, carry it well. Many have died to give you that right. Think of them with everything you do. It is a tremendous debt.
