Closed door politics? Did you forget about all the shenanigans when Tom Delay was in power in Congress? Closed door meetings with energy companies? Squashing of minority dissent, exclusion from meetings, leaving voting times open past normal to ensure your side wins, etc?

You seem to be under the impression that I think the George Bush administration was great. He was too liberal with his spending and I didn't care for the behind closed doors meetings. But he was true to his beliefs and his word. A far better president than the lier we have right now. The last thing we need now is the president we have. Thats what most of us get. We need conservative Democrat or Republican. I'm a registered Democrat but have voted for more Republicans because the Democrats are way too far out there.

Obama was elected because people were fed up with government and he was the media darling. He won because he was bringing change and promised an open government and bipartisan cooperation. He was going to unite the country and he was the change that was needed. The sad part is that suckers like you actually believed the lieing Chicago politician. Now people can see the change they voted for with unprecidented runaway deficit spending, sneaky closed door meetings, Chicago style politics, government takeovers, weakening our military and security at home, appointing radicals in his cabinet, ACORN, pledging billions to developing nations for the man caused global warming myth, a failing energy policy, Carbon credits and the list goes on and on. The sad part is that he's only been there a year and he's done more damage to the country than all the rest of the presidents combined. The very sad part is that people like you still support this guy. How unamerican is that? The guy makes good speeches and you fall all over him. I don't get it. I can't undestand why you don't support a responsible government? Don't you want government to work for the people and represent the people?

The "tea baggers" as you try to degrade the movement in classic liberal fashion, are true patriots of this country. These are good citizens that are fed up with the government and will take it back in 2010. They may not break windows and throw rocks like the demonstrations that you admire so much on the left, but they are a powerful force.

I envision your idea of an ideal American as a lazy poor me sucker that waits for his government check, cowardly, direspectful of others and themselves, does illegal drugs, atheist, irresponsible, blames everyone for there problems, lives by a rule that if it feel good do it or if you can get away with it do it or you can get it for free as long as you don't have to pay for it great. How close am I to your ideal American?
