I think there is hope for Sedley :). My Catholic Christian upbringing helps me not to abandon him; I will continue to offer up factual analysis for his pondering. He cannot be lumped in with the socialist/ anti-capitalist crowd (some other certain posters) yet, as I am sure he acknowledges the enormity of the charitable offerings made by the peoples of this nation (mostly 'conservatives' by the way), not to mention the magnitude of opportunity afforded all by our system (especially if all are willing to help themselves).

And of course there is nothing wrong with petitioning the Lord to save us from those attempting to crush the very foundations upon which this nation was built and that provide for so many.

As for the fence your neighbor built ------- further proof that liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent!
