Thanks for the history but your conclusion has me stumped...

that... 'When Friedman discovered Voisey Bay he was able to convince Inco of the potential , debateable whether they got conned and overpaid  As a direct result of that purchase the majors are extremely leary about buying out juniors. '

1. How was  he was able to 'convince' (dupe?) such a  company?

2. All my reading tells me that the major source of new mining opportunities for the big boys are from the juniors!

What is your source for this conclusion?
