After people were asking about the metallic look from the core samples, I figured I'd go break open a few of the Ni ore chunks I had from Shebandowan, just for comparisons sake. These pictures were taken tonight, on the bumper of my Yukon, as the sun was going down. I had to use the flash, so the pale greenish spots are damn near impossible to see. This is Ni ore. I broke this fresh, because after a few days, it oxidizes and loses it's sparkle. I've seen pieces like this cut and polished, and let me tell you, it is amazing. These pictures are rough ore, broken by a good whack with the sledge hammer. Cut and polished it is even more spectacular. Like I said before, it looks like money!
