Pinetree and NOT

For anyone who likes NOT but thinks investing in Pinetree is less risky....I would at this point say buy both then.  Pinetree just had an upgrade but it is being taken off the TSX due to poor performance the last few months.  I think that is extreme as any company can rebound just as quickly.  Being that I like Pinetree on the whole I have kept 1,000 shares along with my NOT holdings.  To be honest I think Pinetree has more or a chance of crumbling than NOT at this time.  The only thing propping PNP up right now is NOT.

Looking at this in a realistic manner the question becomes...is NOT controlling the PNP share price (SP) or is PNP there on its own.  Pinetree owns about 7 million NOT shares along with a plethora of other companies.  My opinion is the price of uranium will need to increase dramatically to have PNP rise in any manner close to what NOT will be in the near future.  Secondly I believe shorters and MM are controlling PNP price much more than they are NOT's.  I would therefore drop my money into NOT if I couldn't do both as the risk of the stocks declining rests more with price manipulation being greater with Pintree than with NOT.  This is not to say I don't agree that PNP has the potential to regain its place in the investment community's good books if NOT strikes it rich like we all expect, or at least are cautiously optomistic of it doing.  Think of Pinetree as a mutual fund with NOT being one of its investments. Remember that the mutual fund scenerio works on big companies buying very low the speculative companies in various sectors.  For every one that does well there are others that don't.  That's Pinetrees problem right now. Even with a big gain in the NOT price Pinetree would need more than NOT to push its price up dramatically.  Short term I say NOT all the way..long term maybe Pinetree can be thought.  The inside trading on Pinetree is another issue and not a very comforting one.  Thats what make me stay long and for the most part huge in NOT.  Good management...not selfish and manipulative as I feel we are seeing with Pinetree presently.  You can't beat management that thinks of its shareholders first before themselves. You have that here with NOT.  Can't get any better than that.

Well another day done...Have a great weekend all.
