An interesting idea but I doubt it, unless they planned to drill these holes anyway and just pushed them ahead.... but that would be very clandestine wouldn't it?.... a little farfetched perhaps? I would think that R.N. being the very careful planner that he is would not waste time and money on such a tactic. My impression is that he would want as much accurate information as quickly as possible to move the company ahead. The other sounds very romantic and designed to encourage buyers. But who can say what lurks in the minds of men?
