Who cares what shorters do or how they make money? If that game works for them, God bless. They only become an issue if you decide to play in their game. Their game though is time limited. They cannot hurt you if you do not play. In situations like this, I like to pick up my deck of cards and go for a nice long walk. Maybe to Starbucks, for a tall non-fat latte. Maybe to Best Buy to check out the funky plasmas.

Point is, by the time I've gone for my walk (may last a couple weeks or longer) and come back to the table, the shorter game is over, and the real fun can begin.

I have quite a large deck (hard to stuff it into my pocket) and the cards are lined in nickle, gold, and as Richard expresses it so well..."paalaatinnnum-num-num"

Num-num!

'Nuff said'
