RING of Fire, not "Boomerang"

All of the maps that I have seen posted here, show a boomerang shaped formation, along which most of the claims so far are positioned.

Why do you suppose they are using the term "Ring" ? My guess is that we are only looking at less than half of the prospective ground with these maps. The new staking may be taking place MANY miles away.
