I run my self-employed accounting from my home, have keys to a few client's offices and work mostly late night/early morning. Some call me Dracula, others say that I sleep, hanging upside down in the closet. That may be true.....ahem, but I know two things real well....numbers (accounting) and notes (music).

Oh well, most of it was said and I won't dwell on it. Except just to say that everyone's situation is different....snezzer's a teacher on relatively fixed income, I'm self employed, others are retired, there's all sorts of different plays going on. And so, as Shortty said, seek out a good accountant, one you can trust. I can refer you to one, so can Old Joe and some of the mroe experienced stock-players on this board.
