This man was an inside seller of VMS. He sold, as you can see, on the 18th and the 24th, when the stock was .35 - .45 cents. Today, just a week and one half later, this stock closed at $1.29
Cost him about $60,000 in lost profits.
The lesson for me? Insider selling is not the strong predictor of stock price that I thought it was. Certainly not in this case. Of course... there is always tomorrow to tell the rest of the story. But at this point it looks like this insider was as blind (or blinder) then the investors who held on for the drill results.
