Message: Anybody notice the shape of Hudson's Bay?....

They may prove Hudson Bay to be a impact crater and I will eat my words and at the same time I will be totally fascinated, but to date none of the indicators have been found such as shatter cones, which I posted on earlier today and certain types of breccias associated with impacts.

I also live in Sudbury and some really nice shatter cones can be found around town as well as some massive breccias particularly on the North Rim of the Sudbury basin, but as for a possible impact responsible for the geology at McFaulds I don't buy it. That doesn't mean that a crater won't be confirmed in Hudson's Bay, but my original intent was to give an informed opinion that NOT's Double Eagle project was not the result of geological influences caused by an impact which seems to be a rumour going around concerning McFaulds.
