I will tell you what Peter Grandich said about "Labs" last week in one of his radio adresses. He compared the shortage of qualified Labs to the shortage of refineries in North America.

I think the way he put it was, " With all the talk of there not being any new refineries built in North America in the last 3 decades, I think the shortage of labs is even worse. Durring the downturn of the metals sector some labs closed, and I know of no new labs opening in the last 30 years. The lab shortage is a very serious problem for the mining sector."
