Someone is not out to get us, they are out simply to make money through the mechanism of trading. It's not personal, though many on this site take it that way. They know that "lemmings" always respond the same way so they keep using the tried and true methods to stimulate that behaviour... and it works. ( not to mention the ability to trip the computers into executing stop losses). When you see Mr. A. drop a few shares out there when it is plain to see that the SP intends to go up with a reasonable momentum, you know that Mr. A. is not an amateur and would not sell when he/she stands to make a greater profit, not to mention that he/she would not likely sell a few hundred dollars worth of stock for any other reason than to manipulate the SP.

Except on a full scale feeding frenzy, I would never conclude that no one has the power to mess with the SP. You could argue that our SP may well have been 4.50 today if it weren't for the activities of some very "business like" entities. Where ever there is money, there are people doing everything within there power to take advantage. We're speaking of the natural inclinations of the human specy.
