MHOttawa,
I agree that one should always know where the exit is in case of fire.
Prudent.
I do that on the airplane, but I DO expect to land safely.
But also like you I'm not concerned about having a good time. I know there is plenty more worrying and fretting to come. This is the NOT train and we've had a good stretch of clear tracks and sunny days. Might as well enjoy it and have a little party.
It's a little like a wedding. You don't really want to bring up the statistics on divorce during the celebration. That, and the '12 things to do to keep your marriage alive' can be discussed at the councellors office.
For the NOT train...
No doubt there will be five story creaking bridges to cross, with rushing waters and boulders below; basherstorms and harrowing mountain side decents; nights so dark you can't see the nickel in front of your face; dawns so cold you'll be tempted to burn your shares just to get a little warmth. A steady stream of Fear, doubt and distress followed by courage and confidence... and finally, we hope...
The great celebration of all NOT holders. (roll credits)
The GREAT NOT adventure.
Along with that book... We're going to need a movie!
Cheers
BK
