Diamond Field and Voisey Bay is important reference for us as it's an example of how long it takes to sell out to a major producer.
Here is a pdf showing the discovery

Because one major find (the ovoid) was near surface the test drilling went rapidly yet it still took two years before the buy in from the major nickle produces.
This put the Voisey Bay value after two years of drilling at 1,600 M
dollars.
If Noront's discover is only about 1/4 the value (Diamond Fields
had an estimated 80-90 million tons delineated) then DE could be valued at around $5 a share with other Noront properties perhaps worth another $1
Just worth keeping in mind when in an overheated market anywhere were some buyers are not considering what is likely vs what would be nice.
NOT is the most exiting play ANYWHERE at the moment. Selling tomorrow at a high price could be opportunity to buy it all back a lot cheaper on Wednesday. While anything could happen it's unlikely any kind of solid news will come out anytime soon to put a much higher DE mineral valuation. That will take several months at the earliest. News yes but not reasoned and solid studies that would be acceptable to any potential buyer.
