I was on the phone for about 30 minutes, 15 waiting and 15 talking and that was at 6:00 AM. It's worse during trading hours. Glad I have web broker. I lost thosands on a tech stock on Black Tuesday, was it ? On hold while I watched my 20G's turn into 12. It was a mad rush though, that morning.

So anyways, TD said I needed trading authority and my client would have to call from Paris. I phoned him him and he was not happy that he had to deal with this, when he's in the middle of an art fair. I told him that he now has to call TD from paris and he might as well just do the trade himself. Wasn't happy about that either.

Not my problem, I say. I was trying to do him a favor. I doubt that he'll buy in, but i did get one of my accoutnant buddies to loet go of money yesterday and he's in, albeit small, but he's in. And he's happy.

While I was on the line TD, the broker was asking me about NOT. Wondering what all the buzz was about (like he didn't know...sure). So I told him that this could be the biggest find in canada in the last 20 years. I could almost hear him writing that down....

I also inquired about getting a margin account, so that I wouldn't have to sell more than I want to, by Thursday to cover my balance. He started the process.....any advice on using a margin account would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !
