Maybe an acquisition target?

I am a new poster to this forum. I do own NOT, PRB and BMK; with Probe being my largest position and longest held. When the activity started at McFauld's I really started following NOT and the other area plays and got into NOT at an average price of $.72. Have not sold one share and can't see myself doing it anytime soon!

I have been a lurker on the boards for years and occasionally posted on SH .

I have to say that I love the Agora boards and the excellent information, humour and sense of commradery here is infectious, so I am officially "coming out" lol

I was at the forum today and also got the Probe brochure. As a shareholder of both companies mentioned, I have this to say. At least in all of my dealings with Probe the management has been very honest in stating that Probe's SP move is based on NOT's results. ALL of the area plays mention NOT or the McFauld's play in their PRs and some marketing materials whether or not they have legitimate claim. NOT is the impetus for this entire area play. I am tired of seeing jrs that are 50 - 100km or more away saying that they are close to the strike zone. That being said, at least Probe has some legitimacy in terms of their key location; their history in the area (since 2003) and their other properties - some of which have had successful drilling programs with high copper numbers. I totally see PRB as an acquisition target of NOT. Think this may have something to do with the content of Probe's materials? When I called PRB a couple of weeks ago I was told that Richard Neimus had actually called them wanting to buy the claims just before all of this started. Pinetree has a large position in BMK and NOT - not sure of some of the other area plays. I believe Probe in doing a financing - it will be interesting if Pinetree has any part of this. If they do, I think that this will lend credence to some kind of huge acquistion/area play in which Pinetree is a major player.

I am curious if anyone else is thinking in this direction?

GLTA and I bet tomorrow is going to be one heck of a day - I think NOT will try and capitalize on the Cambridge show, Kaiser's McFaulds presentation and will put out a release. It sure seems like we are overdo for one based on previous timing of releases.
