MJ good observations.  I would only dispute the following phrase;

"While the share price has trended modestly higher in the past week". 

IMHO a 20% higher close on the share price this past Friday over the previous Friday is not modest.  Lets be real, anybody who has a broker making him/her 20% in their investments in a year would be  not consider this as only modest.  Not did this in a week.
