I have learned from Jim Sinclair and Jimmy Rogers that our world's financial stability is beginning to shake. It is all the result of a melt down in OTC drivatives and the required stating of level 3 assets by the end of the first quarter of 2008 in the US. Basically, level 3 assets are toxic waste. According to a Nov. 3, 2007 report by Martin Hutchinson carried by Asia Times. "The risks in level 3 portfolios derived from their asset class arise particularly in the area of complex derivatives and the manufactured assets based on credit card debt pools." Already, both presidents of Merrill Lynch and CitiGroup have lost their jobs as a result of massive writedowns. According to Jim Sinclair, we have just seen the beginning 5% of this mess.

This is the main reason that gold has been so strong lately. The Fed here in the US is running their printing presses day and night to inject liquidity into the shaking financial system. It is just a matter of time until people read past all the euphemisms that are currently being supplied by the press in an attempt to defuse the public's awareness of this growing problem.
