Mustangman - you do not need to tie up all you stock for 3 days to transfer - simply open your new account and transfer half your holdings, and transfer the rest once you have acccess to the new account. Also, check out discount brokers - you can easily make trades for under $10. I use Qtrade - they are highly rated and I have no complaints.
