The water is frozen solid every where ( and I mean EVERY WHERE). The wind does cause quite the blizzard conditions after snow falls, while it is sunny, clear, dry, and cold. When, on the rear occasion that it does worm up sufficiently a crust forms on the surface snow and all is well except the cold wind. Due to the arctic High Pressure systems they get relatively low snow accumulation and lots and lots of sunshine. When dressed for these conditions, it is beautiful to be out in! Old Joe
