It is NOT bad either as constant cold is better than rapid changes between very cold and relatively warm weather. The fluctuations bring storms and storms restrict movement. Constant cold allows easy movement and safe predictable weather, thus much less down time and much better supply resupply opportunities. Old Joe PS: Even with weather, things are often not what conventional experience may suggest to the less knowledgeable.
