As someone born in Europe and "arrived" on the N.American continent at the age of 8 (knowing 2 languages neither of which "worked"), it is always embarasing to encounter rudness, whether in the form of pragmatic-money-chasing-simpeltons or congenital boors (regardlwss of where they're from).
