Volker was GOOD! What was Greenspan to do? The Giddy Guys fell in LOVE with him. He married some Gal.
I don't know about 'starting some of those fires' but he had the best combustibles to toss in at just the right time. Thus, the timely good timing. If you know how to fan a raging fire, maybe it is also good to know how to either keep the smoke hidden while you come up with the right type of extinguisher. Slight of hand skills are also of value. Putting out fires by igniting new fires can work. Smart man, that Greenspan.
As for the destructing of of the World Banking System. It always needed a dominant Leaded to set the ground rules and then enforce them. This slow motion destruction will need placement of a new set of rules and a Leader to establish them and likely much assistance in the enforcement aspect.
Just as Greenspan ant dead yet, the World Banking System ant destroyed yet either. In fact they are only now learning exactly how the wreckage is going to lay at rest. Not all the 1.2 trillion is a write off and thus there will be some time to pick through the wreckage once the dust begins to settle.
What comes out of it all in the final analysis is likely to add nothing lasting to the 'Learning' already under way. The Crafty crowd will use the 'Learning' to work on the next 'Calamity' in the making and of course with the intent of their personal benefit.
My solution is to own and hold things like Noront Resources. NOT easy to steal this stuff (Mineral Ore) out from under.
Hold on to Good Solid Real Things! That is my mantra.
