Your statement about "how does he know there is no bad news" intrigues me. Why would he not know if the news is good or bad? He knows what the drills are turning. The experts are all up there watching.

They can get a pretty good read without the core being tested. They know if, for example, hole 18 is similar to 5. You don't think so???
