No it's NOT mean, i know where you're coming from, but in this case I havn't tried to talk anyone in buying NOT, I have given a lot of friends the facts, or at least what I know about them, but always say don't buy on MY say-so, do your own DD and make up your own mind. Some of  them i almost tried to talk them into it because I don't want them to lose out, now the ball is in their court, and like you I WILL GLOAT if some of them miss the boat on this one for not at least doing their own DD, because I'm sure they would buy if they did.
