Was reading up on Platinum and Palladium. Note that Stillwater mine in Montana (only one in North America) has estimated reserves of 19.9 GPT of the two metals combined. Also read that extraction methods have improved with silica based absorbtion method.

Hole 18 evidenced 11.15 GPT of these two combined. Add to that the  other possibilities like Rhodium and Osmium (thought that was the ex lead singer of Black Sabbath with a lame TV show) and what we have is a GREAT find. This doesn't even consider the major metal finds of nickel, copper and gold which would make a mine on their own.

This may be redundant info for the long time NOTters but just wanted to share some tidbits of my ongoing DD.
