I believe that JPM's province is not to sustain NOT's SP on a daily basis but to ensure that it does well in the event of a bid from a major.  

"Could one of you experts please explain to me what RN may be able to do (in the mean time) to reassure investors....especially in light of the fact that since the partnership with JPM, the share price still keeps going down."
