Market CAP - question

I understand what a market cap is, however, how does the market cap impact the perception of a certain company.

Noront has a market cap of 472 million. this is current share price x number of shares issued.

can someone fill me in on how they would interpret this? is this a high market cap, low market cap...im a little confused
