Its good to read a positive article but the poor fellow missed the massive debt, government and personal, and the serious subprime mess that is being temporarily postponed by printing hundreds of billions of dollars out of thin air. The US has a long and painful row to hoe. I think they will hold off the inevitable by printing more and more money until after the election then all bets are off.

Solid investments in companies like Noront (how many more Noronts are out there?) are a safe haven in these trying times. The future stability of large mining companies rests on new and very rich deposits in geopolitically safe countries like Canada.
