Another conversation with Mr. David Graham, Noront Director

First of all, if you ever get a chance to talk with Mr. Graham, you should.  He has a very impressive style ....exudes confidence, and speaks with controlled enthusiasm.  It is interesting to note that he is right there in the Noront office.........a hands on Director with 25 years experience in the mining/exploration business.

Back up one step.......the lady answering the telephone at Noront the last few days, is not Elaine.  Elaine is always a pleasure to speak with, but this person is excellent also. The other day when I called, she enquired as to the nature of my call, then made an effort to find someone to answer my questions about the financing NR.  Today was the same.  My point is that everyone I have spoken with at Noront is first rate.  There is a business theory, that says, management tends to perpetuate itself.  Richard Nemis seems to have rubbed off on everyone who works with him.

I called today, trying to clarify the status of drilling on the other anomalies.  Mr. Graham could not confirm if they had actually drilled yet, but could confirm that the crews were at least at the new drill targets, and working on them.  He mentioned that it is very cold up there and this has had some impact on the work.  Mr. Graham clearly will only state that which he is sure of.  My guess is we are drilling by now.......hang on to your hats!

Regarding the infill drilling, Mr. Graham said that it was close to completion, or may actually be done by now.  Then they have to get the assays, and pass the results on to the engineering firm.  It is possible that a bit more drilling may then be required, but Noront has been in close contact with the engineering firm, as to the details of what was required for the infill holes.

Next, I mentioned that in a previous NR, it was stated that lab turnaround time will be much different this year.  I asked Mr. Graham if he could tell me anything about that.....were we going to use a different lab, or what.  Very interesting answer.......no he could not tell me anything today, but he could on another day.  Sounds like something coming on this front.

Last, but certainly not least, I asked Mr. Graham if there was anything else he could tell me, that I could pass on to the board.  His response was," We are at a very exciting time....on the edge of their seats.  Lots of targets at DE, not all necessarily will pay off, but........".  The inference being that Noront management is very confident they have a tiger by the tail!  Whoops, I mean an upsidedown elephant.

Holding with confidence,.... Canseco
