One of the best indicators that something is on the move, outside of many other technical markers, is to have a confirmation of the same move supported with Volume. Positive volume suggesting the buyers are aggessively buying more then the sellers are selling is part of a perfect set up for future price appreciation; investors are buying what they know and those investore who don't know get in on the action by either not selling or adding to positions. In addition, being we are in a spectulative area play that includes many companies, all with the same motivations to find the next big discovery, one looks to evaluate their performance relalative to each other as a potential indicator of something is happening. Again using volume as an indicator (not the only one but a good one) I looked to see who the top volume movers were on Friday. It may surprise you (or maybe not) that we had at least 4 plays in the top 15, all postive volumes, which does suggest/imply investors are adding in advance of an event which is yet to come. This does sound very positive indeed. I have pasted the volume from the TSX Venture site.
