I beleive they probably have an idea of the tonnage and grade of the deposit. They mention in today's  report the following

Cu-PGE deposits. At this point, the Eagle One mineralization has an approximate 200m plunge length, up to a 200m dip length, and a variable thickness from less than 10m to approximately 75m. The 35 holes drilled to date have provided a reasonable first pass documentation of Eagle One from which we will make a revised estimate of the potential resource.

This is why they bought some shares today after the report was made public. IMHO
