Given that they got into this drilling shortly after the first set of new aerials were completed and compiled I feel confident in thinking they combined what they had already gathered in past exploration (which included drilling) with the new aerial data and went in to get some new drill cores to build on their existiny core data. They very likely also expected (more like HOPED) that they could do a better job of drilling on the richer mineralization in the confirmed anomalies.

Now they have learned, once again, that the makeup of the geology is proving to be very challenging and interpretation of the aerials needs to be taken with lots of care, caution, and supported with plenty of more ground followup technical serveys, maping and sampleing, etc. Expect BMK to be a little more methodical in the future.

With all that said, I think their shot into the darkness was well worth while for both themselves and for all the other area players. Mineralization is there to be found (all over the place - especially with respect to good distinct anomalies) but will need extensive and intensive investigation in order to maximize cash/drill results. Time, skill, knowledge, experience, etc.  (and consequently MONEY) has to be put into getting the job done. Better Right than Rushed.

Given all that, we can feel very reassured by the superb superiour preformance Noront Resources is consistently and continously demonstrating in their rapid progress with both the Eagle 1 and the NEW ANOMALY Exploration.
