I feel very confident that if they ever knew in advance that there is/was a leak they would deal with it at that time. As I stated earlier I believe their hand was forced. They did not want to make any news release on DE2 until sometime in the near future. However, someone somewhere picked up on a new buyer or group of buyers teaming up on the stock and causing concern for the Controller of SP of late. Thus the order went out that there was/appeared to be something up and Notont had to respond. They may of assumed it was a leak or may not have made that assumption but had to do something to help out the Controller (who is working on their behalf and consequently on our behalf as well). Thus the very rushed NR. As for consistency from Management: Should you be 10% their consistency! Apparently you lack management experience contrary to your earlier claims. Or are you loosing your edge or just forgetting your soft Ba back in December? Mostly interesting and or good points to post with nonsense interwoven with it. What team is it you are working for anywhay? Are you regressing into the young developing school yard Bull_?
Given cutsheal ranting today maybe he could help us out and thus also inform on this issue of the forced NR. Cuts, what can you do to clear up this matter?
As for other items I have read in the past half hour (reading backward from later in the evening):
Bentonstocks: Are you ever being conservative. Good for you as your reasoning is my cautious minimum for guidance purposes. Think of the lower grade mineralization they (the eventual miner) will have easy access to once they are underground mining the high grade ore(s) for the fast (very fast) paydown on startup costs! Then also consider the 95% of property Noront has control of in the "Ring of Fire" that has yet to be closely examined let along drilled. BLUE SKY all the way!
Shorty and Mark: Interested in such things as 'offshoring' but likely would never act on it. As for the Savings Account thing! What will they dream up next. Gut Ontario and then Gut the Country? What will be the restrictions and preconditions as well as long term security, etc.. What came to mind on first reading of this scheme (and that is what it is - a scheme) was (keep in mind the Banking industry south of the boarder at present and what is was that could have got them where they and all financial industry types every where else as well) are the Canadian Banks in such dire straights as to need such types of Savings Accounts (with the tax giveaways included) to prop up their Reserves? Even if not the case; Where will such a scheme (and once again I really mean SCHEME as in Scheming) lead? How will it be regulated and accounted for? The same way such schemes were regulated and accounted for that got the US (and every one else for that matter due to the current so called "Open Markets" and free flow of money) into their (collective) present situation?
Old Joe
PS: Given these types of things, though I dislike intensely being regulated and restricted and accounted for, I want Effective, Enforceable, and Energetic (a real Tripple E) Rules and Regulations from a Strong Government Controlled and Staffed Regulatory Body within the Justice Department. Level and Steady playing field is what it is truly called! not mumbo jumbo Voo Doo economics.
