I agree with what you say to the extent that this SP is being manipulated to the hilt; however, one big reason, IMHO, there is not alot of retail $'/people willing to pull the trigger right now and until this stock gets some "frenzy" behind it. That's just fine with the big houses re: the warrant issues et al. You mentioned that blue chips would love NOT's stability. Don't forget blue chip stocks pay dividends and that factor alone will keep big bucks from coming - for now. We just heard from a a couple of new (experienced to the mining game) posters that just came on board with the confidence of DE 2 in the $5 + range. That's how I think NOT will continue to grow - like a diesel, not a sports car - chug ahead with each bit of news.
