Barry is south of Windfall. Metanor optioned Barry from Murgor but Freewest had a small chunk in the Barry-United property. Interesting to note the 7km extension to the north. Windfall may be bigger then we think.

Metanor - Diamond Drilling Program of 15,000m on the Barry Property

March 5th, 2008 - Val-d'Or, Quebec, Canada: Métanor Resources Inc. (MTO: TSX-V) is pleased to announce the beginning of a drilling campaign totalling approximately 15,000 metres on the Barry property. This drilling program will be carried out by the company Forages Orbit of Val-d'Or, Québec.

The drilling program will investigate near surface and extensions at depth of the mineralized zones (Main Zone, zone 43 and zone 48) on the Barry property. These gold bearing zones oriented SW-NE at a dip of 60 degrees to the SE were defined by drilling until now over a distance of approximately 600 meters and on a horizontal thickness reaching 45 meters. The drilling program will begin in the sector where extensive stripping has been performed during autumn 2007 and where many channel samples taken to evaluate the new mineralized zone returned significant gold bearing intersections. All the results of this systematic sampling of a new gold-bearing zone will be published once that the samples currently in hand at an independent laboratory (ALS) have been obtained.

A recent study carried out by Diagnos Inc which compiled all the existing data with the assistance of the program CARDS (Computer Aided Resource Software Detection) made it possible to identify zones with high probability in gold content over a horizontal distance of more than 4Km along these gold bearing zones. A zone of prediction for gold and copper was also highlighted at approximately 7Km to the north-east of the stripped area and shows the continuity and the great potential of this corridor of deformation containing the main mineralized zones. The drilling program will also be designed to investigate these very interesting new targets where the potential for gold bearing zone was extended over a 7km horizontal distance.

An additional stripping campaign should begin during April 2008 in the sector of the Main mineralized zones. During this stripping work more than 200,000 m3 (approximately 400,000 tons metric) of overburden will be removed in order to expose the extensions of the Main mineralized zones which are currently the subject of a bulk sampling and with the objective of proving these new mineralized zones.
